Toms Eco Lodge - Safari Tents
Isle of Wight, Hampshire, England, UK

Glamping;' Boutique or Luxury camping is a fresh and fun holiday experience. Tom's Eco Lodge takes 'Glamping' to the next level with five beautiful Eco Lodges. Each nestled away in the glorious surroundings of Tapnell Farm, on The Isle of Wight. Stunning sea views, sandy beaches, space to roam and so much to do, creates the perfect place to be. Perfect for an adventurous or relaxing family holiday, group get together, party or even romantic hideaway. It's simply 'Glamping' at its best! Come and see for yourself...

Glamping at our lodges is perfect for families or groups of up to eight, or enjoy the whole 'Eco Lodge' site for up to 40 people. The Eco Lodge is far more than just 'Glamping'...

...with a rustic dining table and chairs to enjoy delicious meals together. Cooked on your own log burning range cooker, BBQ, camp fire or pizza oven.  Really comfy bedrooms offer a peaceful nights rest and your own private shower and bathroom add home comfort and privacy. There is also electricity for lighting and plug sockets to charge your phone.

Each lodge is also furnished with comfy sofas and a games compendium, which is the perfect space to relax or play a board/card game together in. After a day outdoors your own hot shower is waiting for you as you stoke up the fire. There is also a decked area to sit back and relax on, and a grassy glade to play and bbq in.

So if you like to watch the sunset over the horizon; roam free in the paddock, gaze the millions of stars, put your feet up by the wood burner, bathe at the beach, walk the island, surf the waves or just eat delicious home made pizzas from the wood burning oven… this place is for you. There is also an added feel good factor – “all this and it doesn't cost the earth!”

The Isle of Wight is celebrated historically for the world's largest sailing regatta, Cowes Week, Queen Victoria's Osbourne House, great locally farmed produce and the world's largest ever festival, Isle of Wight 1970 (600,000 on the downs).

Today the Island has even more to shout about. All year round the Island plays host to festivals of music, film, sports, food and drink, including The Isle of Wight Festival, Cowes Week, Yarmouth Old Gaffers, The Bestival, The Rhythm Tree Festival, The Minghella Film Festival, The Island Games and The Garlic Festival.

The great thing about being a small island is that you are never far from the coastline, with its many miles of great beaches to discover. Whether you are looking to play, relax, walk, ride, sail, surf, kite or swim there are beaches for you. Our local favorites are Compton and Freshwater Bay.

For food and drink lovers, great pubs, cafes, farm shops, vineyards and tasty restaurants welcome you all over the Island.
