Ludo Campsite is situated in a rustic, rural environment, on the edge of the Monts d'Ardèche Country Park and the volcanic Coiron plateau. A certain Julius Caesar was already pitching his tents here some 2,000 years ago, overlooking the Ardèche, its gorges and mountains.
With extensive wooded and shaded areas the campsite benefits from the beautiful Mediterranean climate whilst offering you somewhere to relax out of the direct sunshine. The site has large camping pitches from 100m² to 160m² and the XXL pitches also have their own terminals for water, electricity and waste water, all at no extra charge, all our pitches are equipped with a 10 amp power point.
On site you can enjoy our 220m² heated swimming pool and paddling pool for children, roman steps and sunbathing area on the terraces or maybe dine on the shaded terraces of the snack bar. A mini-market offers you fresh bread and croissants on a daily basis, as well as camping-stove refills and freezing of your ice-packs/gel-packs for cool boxes, a postal service is provided and card-operated telephone boxes are dotted about the site.
Only 10 minutes away is the river and small dam for cooling off and as we are situated at the gateway to the small village of Lussas in the very heart of the Coiron and Berg Community we are a great starting point for all manner of rural and cultural excursions across the region.
